October 11th, 2011 – Colorado Insurance Commissioner Jim Riesberg will be giving a one hour webinar tonight about changes in health insurance coverage at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
Entitled “Are You Prepared for the Changes Ahead in Health Insurance?,” the webinar will discuss what drives the cost of health insurance premiums, updates on federal health care reform, resolving disputes with health insurers, signing up for Medicare and more.
A second webinar geared towards business owners and HR professionals will be held on Tuesday, October 18, from Noon – 1 p.m.
The webinars are free but reservations are required. To register, go to askdora.colorado.gov and click on the “Are You Prepared” button.
Commissioner Reisberg will also hold a public meeting on the subject at 6:30 p.m. Thursday October 13th at Merrill Middle School, 1551 S. Monroe St.
