November 1st, 2018 – Open enrollment for 2019 re-opened on November 1st and will close on January 15th. As it stands now, any plan changes or new enrollments should be completed by December 15th to ensure a January 1st start date. Enrollments from December 16th through January 15th will have a February 1st start date.
Rate increases are much lower than last open enrollment season and it appears all the same carriers will continue to offer health insurance in the new year. Some plans will be discontinued and carriers will be mailing notices to people with discontinued plans, as well as notices of the rate hikes.
Quoting software with the 2019 rates will be loaded and ready to go sometime in October. Colorado Health Insurance Brokers works with all the top health insurance carriers and also with cost sharing ministry plans. The cost sharing ministry plans aren’t for everyone, but they can help healthy people without pre-existing conditions save quite a bit in monthly recurring expenses.
I am looking for help enrolling in Medicare. Is there someone I can meet with to assist me?
I am looking for help enrolling in medicare. Is it possible to meet with someone?
Our schedules are booked up, so I’m afraid there’s no time for an in person meeting. If you would like a quote on a Plan G or Plan F supplement, we’re happy to provide that here. We do not sell Part D or Medicare Advantage plans at this time, but Medicare.gov has an excellent online resource that you might want to try for those products, if needed. I hope that helps!!
